Watch Roo Powell and her team apprehend more child predators in the second season of Undercover Underage. The first season premiered on November 2, 2021, and its results were successful as they ended up with four convictions of sexual predators. You can expect it to be more intense in the upcoming eight-part second season. With 16 arrests, the pressure is higher than ever. It premieres on Monday, May 1 at 9/8c on ID, streaming the same day on discovery+.
In season two, 12-year-old “Abby,” 14-year-old “Mackenzie,” and 15-year-old “Skylar,” act as decoys under Roo’s direction. As these young women interact with the ACMs online through their decoy personas, Roo helps them as they process and absorb the impact of the lewd actions and upsetting words intended for actual minors.
The team contacts the ACMs via messages, calls, and even disturbing video chats after they interact with the decoys to learn more about their true identities. They tell any adult who gets in touch with one of the decoys that they are chatting to an underage girl and give them the option to end the conversation at any time. The docuseries aims to shed light on how SOSA apprehends some of the most dangerous child predators on the internet.
Ron Simon serves as executive producer of Undercover Underage for discovery+. You can watch the official trailer for season two below.
