
Netflix has officially greenlit a third season for “The Lincoln Lawyer,” a resounding success after its impactful second run, which earned a place in the Top 10 across 81 countries. The upcoming 10-episode season will draw inspiration from Michael Connelly’s fifth book in the Lincoln Lawyer series, “The Gods of Guilt.”
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who portrayed Mickey Haller, will reprise his role, accompanied by returning cast members including Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco, and Yaya DaCosta as Andrea Freemann.
The series follows Mickey Haller, an unconventional idealist whose legal practice operates from the back seat of his Lincoln car as he tackles cases, both significant and minor, across the sprawling landscape of Los Angeles. The preceding season was based on Connelly’s fourth book, “The Fifth Witness.”
Co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez expressed their excitement for the positive audience reception and the opportunity to continue bringing Michael Connelly’s universe to life on screen. The creative team, including David E. Kelley, Michael Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, and Tana Jamieson, collaborate to make the show a success. “The Lincoln Lawyer” was originally adapted by David E. Kelley and developed by Ted Humphrey, with A+E Studios as the production hub.
