Netflix renewed the teen sitcom series That ’90s Show for season 2. The upcoming season will have 16 episodes. On January 19, 2023, season one made its debut. With more than 41 million hours of viewing, it quickly made it into 35 countries’ Top 10 English TV lists on Netflix.
That ’90s Show is based on That ’70s Show by Terry, Bonnie, and Mark Turner. It follows Leia Forman, a teen girl hungry for adventure and looking for a best friend. When she travels to Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, she soon discovers what she’s looking for as she meets the lively and rebellious Gwen, who lives next door. The events take place in the year 1995.

That ’90s Showย stars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos. The show’s creators are Bonnie, and Terry Turner, with their daughter Lindsey Turner joining them. Showrunner/executive producer Gregg Mettler and executive producers Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner are all returning to Point Place. Mandy Summers, Chrissy Pietrosh, and Jessica Goldstein will also join the show as EPs.

About That ’90s Show TV Show
It's 1995 and Leia Forman is desperate for some adventure in her life or at least a best friend who isn't her dad. When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, Leia finds what she's looking for right next door when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen. With the help of Gwen's friends, including her lovable brother Nate, his smart, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki, the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie, and the charming Jay, Leia realizes adventure could happen there just like it did for her parents all those years ago. Excited to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer. With a basement full of teens again, Kitty is happy the Forman house is now a home for a new generation and Red is, well...Red.
