What is the matter with the people who make these decisions??? I wish someone would make a network, or something, that only aired shows with a positive message. I just don’t get it!!!!

I agree with Jean about the lack of shows with positive messages; we get sex, suicide, Satan and vampires in every possible iteration but not shows with faith affirming messges

it was a great sitive show with a thinkable moral agenda which is a problem for those at cbs but shows their negativity seems wrong to us to have cancelled it

I thoroughly miss “God Friended Me” because there were very positive messages portrayed each week. Incidentally, I came to know about the series from my elderly father (age 94) who seemed captivated by the program, and shared the basic format/plot to me when I came to visit for Sunday dinners. The program was actually the highlight of his Sunday evening, a gentle way to be quiet & calm after the football games. Sometimes I felt that the series was cancelled because I wasn’t ‘listening to God in my life, so he just went onto help others that opened their hearts & minds to his calling. In essence this is the message I believed was played out in each episode. Also, the young adults (20’s – 30’s) in this world are so fixated & consumed with social media, especially on their mobile devices, that they make a good target for “being the change” in the world. While they may fall prey to the peer pressure of being consumed by social media, they can STILL turn it around and show the world that God is there for us, ALWAYS, we just have to be willing to listen with our hearts & minds to follow Him and do his will. The writers, directors, and producers did a great job of portraying that in the backgrounds of the cast with storylines that “blended faith, nationality, age, sex (orientation), profession, health, etc” because God sees and loves us as his children with no barriers or limitations ever considered !! I sure wish/hope the networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, Hallmark, or OWN) will consider having “God Friended Me” as a program in their lineup of (wholesome, family-oriented) entertainment.
