Night Sky will not move forward on Amazon’s Prime Video.
The streaming company has cancelled its sci-fi series Night Sky, featuring Oscar winners Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons.
The cancellation comes after all eight first-season episodes of the drama, co-produced by Amazon Studios and Legendary Television, were released on May 20.
While the series launched to an overly positive audience response, it didn’t carry the numbers needed to justify a second season.
