Paramount+ has revealed the official trailer of the anticipated second season of Mayor of Kingstown. Also, they announced the premiere date of the series, which is set for January 15, next year.
The first season premiered in November, and the finale aired on January 9. On the linear network, the series debut attracted 2.6 million viewers, and the second episode brought in 2.1 million.
Mayor of Kingstown centers on the McLusky family, the power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the only thriving industry is the incarceration business. Along with Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, Emma Laird, and Aidan Gillen will return in season two. Hugh Dillion, the co-creator, will also return, along with Derek Webster, Taylor Handley, and Tobi Bamtefa.
Taylor Sheridan and Dillon co-created the series and also serve as executive producers. Renner executive produces in addition to starring. Also, the EPs include Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Michael Friedman. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios produce.
