The CW has decided to end the reboot of the classic series Kung Fu after its three-season run. This cancellation is part of the network’s new business model, implemented by its new owners, which focuses on lower-cost scripted originals primarily sourced from Canada and the UK.
Among the existing scripted series, only All American and Walker, the strongest performers, have been renewed for the next season. On the other hand, the least likely candidates for renewal, namely The Winchesters, Kung Fu, and Walker Independence, have been canceled.
The fate of Superman & Lois and All American: Homecoming remains uncertain, although they are considered to have a slight chance of renewal, followed by Gotham Knights.
