Netflix confirms the season 2 renewal of the critically acclaimed Australian series Heartbreak High. The series is a reboot of the show with the same that aired on the year 1990. All eight episodes of the first season premiered last September 14.
Since its release, the first season has spent three weeks in the top 10 global lists on Netflix, as it seems to have connected with young people all over the world. Additionally, it has ranked in the top 10 in over 43 countries.
Hannah Carroll Chapman’s Heartbreak High follows a web of overlapping high-school relationships, including friendships, frenemies, couples, and crushes on Hartley High. It stars Ayesha Madon, James Majoos, Chloe Hayden, Asher Yasbincek, Thomas Weatherall, Josh Heuston, Will McDonald, Gemma Chua-Tran, Bryn Chapman Parish, Sherry-Lee Watson, Brodie Townsend, Chika Ikogwe, Rachel House, and Scott Major.
