The award-winning competition series Baking It will be getting a second season, Peacock confirmed. In this upcoming season, Maya Rudolph returns as the host, with Amy Poehler joining her as co-host, replacing Andy Samburg.
There will be a weekly release of five brand-new episodes starting December 12. In each episode, a new group of bakers competes in a series of exhilarating and funny tasks created by Amy and Maya to put the bakers to the test in new and challenging ways.
Additionally, on December 12 at 10 pm ET/PT on NBC, a special holiday edition of “Baking It” will premiere. In the Christmas special, Maya and Amy ask their well-known pals to “cele-bake” the season in a fun competition to support their charities.
Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Paper Kite Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment, produces the series. Executive producers include Poehler, Rudolph, Nicolle Yaron, Pip Wells, Kate Arend, and Dave Becky.
