The series follows siblings Eva Garvey, Bibi, Ursula, and Becka as they hatch a plan to murder John-Paul to free Grace, although inevitably, their murderous schemes go amiss. It stars Sharon Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson as the Garvey sisters.
Along with Brett Baer, Dave Finkel, Karen Cogan, Ailbhe Keogan, Daniel Cullen, Perrie Balthazar, and Paul Howard, Horgan served as the show’s executive producer and writer. It was adapted from Malin-Sarah Gozin’s “Clan,” an original work from Belgium. Merman’s executive producers are Horgan, Faye Dorn, and Clelia Mountford; Caviar’s are Gozin, Bert Hamelinck, and Michael Sagol. Directing the first season were Rebecca Gatward, Josephine Bornebusch, and Dearbhla Walsh, with Walsh also serving as executive producer. Disney Television Studios’ ABC Signature and Merman Television produced the series.
