We’ve got exciting news! HGTV ordered the renewal for “Why The Heck Did I Buy This House?” for season 2. That means you will see designer, renovator, and former survivor winner Kim Wolfe rescue a new set of homeowners. Its first season aired its last episode on May 11 and attracted over 15.2 million viewers. With this positive response, the series will have another season with eight hour-long episodes. The seriesย is produced by High Noon Entertainment.
“Their success contributed to the more than 50 million viewers who tuned in to HGTV in the second quarter, confirming that we should order more episodes of these series for next year’s programming slate” said Betsy Ayala (senior vice president, programming & development, HGTV) in a statement, referring toย Why The Heck Did I Buy This House?ย andย Building Roots.
